Dési Rovers, autodidact, grew up with dixieland and classical music. As a teenager, when there was no Ipod or downloads, she sat and waited for her favourite popsongs on the radio. At the age of 4 she played with her first toy drum kit and since then there’s no way back. When she was 27 years old she studied jazz drums at the conservatory in Hilversum, Holland. She also got lessons from Chris Strik and Lucas van Merwijk. |
